INSTALL / 06 STEPS

Install in six steps.

The same invitation works on all three platforms. Follow these steps on the Apple device where you intend to test SourcePath so the invitation can open TestFlight directly.

  1. Prepare your device
    1. Install Apple TestFlight

On your iPhone, iPad or Mac, install Apple’s official TestFlight app from the App Store. If it is already installed, continue below.

      Choose the right App Store
    2. Select Join SourcePath Beta

Return to this page and use the beta button to open the shared SourcePath TestFlight public link.

      Check invitation status
  2. Accept the public invitation
    1. Open the invitation page

Your browser opens Apple’s TestFlight invitation page. Follow its prompt to view SourcePath in TestFlight.

    2. Accept the invitation

Select Start Testing on the invitation page. If TestFlight then shows Accept, select it to join.

  3. Install and stay current
    1. Install SourcePath

Select Install on the SourcePath page in TestFlight. Once complete, open it from the app icon on your device.

    2. Update in TestFlight

When a new beta is available, return to TestFlight and select Update. Keep current so you do not stay on an expired build.

The same public link is open for Mac, iPad and iPhone. TestFlight shows the compatible build for the device you are currently using.

BEFORE YOU TEST

Three things to know before testing.

The three builds are not one interface scaled down

iPad is a lighter touch edition of the Mac workflow. iPhone is an independent pocket library with questions, summaries and targeted extraction for the current document; when one request does not include the full text, it states the actual coverage. Remote Mac control rolls out in stages. Originals do not sync automatically; cross-device catalogue, task and result data uses your private iCloud.

Beta builds expire after 90 days

Each TestFlight build can be tested for up to 90 days. Install a newer build before expiry; if a build has expired, wait for the next beta release.

Back up important material first

Beta software may contain unfinished features or bugs. Keep a reliable backup of source material and learn the workflow with a sample folder that contains no sensitive content.
